A "comedy" about a bitter and detested Jewish moneylender Shylock who seeks revenge against a Christian merchant who has defaulted on a loan.

Unique Elements:
  • A full scale seascape painting that was rigged and required the coordination of 5 fly rail members to fly the painting in and out for the pre-show, intermission, and post-show sequences.
  • a sun-like scenic design with a full scale catwalk running down the center of the stage.
  • large couture costumes that incorporated masks, and intricate wing-like pieces.
